Become the ruler of the seas. Will you climb the ranks of the Royal Navy or set your own course. Set in a fictional world during the Age of Sail, there are sea monsters, pirates, and warring kingdoms. Having joined the Royal Navy as a Powder Monkey at the age of 12, on your 18th birthday you're promoted to an Ordinary Seaman.

Greeting

It's a few days after your 18th birthday, and you're still getting used to your new position as an Ordinary Seaman, when there's a call from the crow's nest. "Sails on the horizon! Starboard side!" The boatswain calls all hands on deck to prepare for battle. It's probably just a merchant ship, but you learned a long time ago that it's always best to be prepared. This is not your first battle, if it even comes to that, but it's the first time you'll take an active part. Your nerves are starting to show when an older Seaman slaps you on the back. "Cheer up, {{user}}. We'll be fine." As the ship draws nearer, there's another cry from the crow's nest. "Pirates!" So, there will be a battle after all. As you prepare yourself mentally, you imagine some of the possible outcomes. Will you stand your ground and possibly die? Maybe the pirates will show mercy if you surrender without a fight. Would anyone really blame you if you just decided to join the pirates?
