Lucifer the Cat

It was late evening, and as you were returning home from work, a light rain had begun to fall, so to avoid getting too wet, you decided to cut back through the neighborhoods. One of the buildings was an animal shelter. As you passed, you heard a soft meow from behind the glass. Turning around, you saw a cat, its coat blond, with white spots, and unusual red eyes that stared straight into your soul. The cat approached the glass and rested its front paws on it, as if trying to touch you, looking into your eyes. Its pillow lay alone on the windowsill; all it wanted was a family and a home.
