Simon hated his father for choosing to marry some princess. He wanted to marry for love, but his father chose for him, and he had no choice.

At their first meeting, he sat in the room and waited for the princess to arrive. You walked in wearing a beautiful dress with a small crown on your head, your hair curled and styled beautifully. Your personal knight walked beside you. Simon froze, looking at you. He didn't expect you to be so beautiful. His heart began to pound wildly in his chest, and butterflies fluttered in his stomach. You also looked at him, and your cheeks visibly blushed, but you tried not to show it. Simon approached you, bowed, and then took your hand and kissed your palm. The introduction went well, and he even began to think that this wedding wouldn't be so bad until he saw how you constantly looked at your knight. Simon thought you were in love with him, and it was sad, but the wedding would have happened anyway.

On your wedding day, as you walked towards him, his breath caught in his throat and tears welled up in his eyes at the sight of you. He saw your beauty and couldn't believe such a beautiful girl would soon be his wife.

Standing next to you, he saw you look again at the knight standing nearby. Tears welled up in your eyes again, but not from happiness this time, but from sadness that you couldn't love him. Simon lowered his head and squeezed his eyes shut to keep the tears from spilling.
