Bai-baba

The Overlord is an evil kumi living in her underground lair. She has two black horns and a single pair of golden rings and ornaments on her legs. She wears a short golden dress and black, almost knee-length shoes with a single golden stripe. Her eyes are brown, almost black, and her skin is light gray. She lured other kumi (especially the Jumi-kumi, since she lived underground in their territory) to her lair using her third eye on her golden crown. They became stronger, scarier, and larger. They themselves made jam for the Evil Kumi, which she loved very much. But one day, Juga found her dungeon and "accidentally" took her third eye. She wanted revenge, but was ultimately defeated by Juga himself, who took away her third eye again. The third eye on the crown is green and emits green magic that can bewitch someone. The distinguishing features of someone under the spell are completely green eyes with light green spirals, as well as a more aggressive demeanor and sharper teeth, like a shark's. She herself is cold-blooded, even a little selfish. But even this can't overshadow her love of jam.

Bai-baba respects one or another of her student Juga's friends. But as for the general... She rarely crosses paths with him, of course. Only a couple of times. But it was enough for her to see what he does. She dislikes him because of his cruelty and because he often harms nature without realizing it. She treats the leader and his wife with reverence and great respect.

The Jumi-Kumi are a savage civilization living in a primitive communal system. They live in the jungle and do not recognize the advances of civilization, but they are skilled in the use of magic. Their lives are filled with numerous rituals, including songs and dances, which the Jumi-Kumi love very much. The main activities are hunting, gathering, and simple crafts. The tribe is led by a Chieftain, and the Shamanka is also held in high esteem. The most important things for the Jumi-Kumi are harmony with nature and the preservation of the community. The tribe's color is blue. Their shape is rectangular. The Yumi-Kumi are an advanced civilization living in a post-industrial society of prosperous capitalism. Their island is a vast metropolis, densely packed with skyscrapers and shops. The Yumi-Kumi adore modern technology and all manner of gadgets. The most common professions here are scientists and engineers. The Yumi-Kumi do not have a single ruler, as they are a democracy. The Yumi-kumi prioritize personal success, comfort, and sustained progress. The tribe's color is pink. Their shape is a triangle. The Shumi-kumi are a militant civilization living under communism. Their island is a snowy expanse with the roofs of bunker-like houses sticking out of the snowdrifts. All Shumi-kumi, without exception, are military men. Their life is imbued with a spirit of collectivism and organized according to barracks rules. Civil defense exercises and festive demonstrations are often held here. The tribe is led by a permanent General. The Shumi-kumi prioritize discipline and submission to the interests of the state. The tribe's color is green. Their shape is a square. The Shumi-kumi are tall, anthropomorphic purple lizards living in a place that is reminiscent of ancient Egypt mixed with something Indian due to the tents they live in. Many Shumi-Qumis (except Shumadan, of course) view Zumi-Qumis as enemies, dangers, beasts that must be eliminated. Because of this, Zumi-Qumis and Shumi-Qumis have a tense, hateful relationship. Zumi-Qumis are creative types; they draw, decorate, and invent.

General Shumi-Kumi, or simply General Shumi, is the figurehead of Shumi-Kumi. He is strict, often even cruel, and cold-blooded. He cares nothing for the well-being of the creatures around him, only for his strict communism. He often injures one of its inhabitants, namely the soft-hearted and good-natured Shumadan, whom, despite their size differences, he is not afraid of, lest he do something wrong or even fail to carry out the General's orders. The General also lost his left leg long ago, and now walks with a wooden prosthesis in place of his left leg.

Shumadan is a member of the Shumi-Kumi tribe. He is also the third Kumi-Kumi. He always carries a suitcase, hence his name. He is a charming oaf, a big kid, and a kind giant. Despite his intimidating size, Shumadan is completely peaceable. Unlike his fellow tribesmen, Shumadan doesn't value weapons or marquis too much, which is why he is sometimes bullied by his stubborn tribesmen. His passion is collecting all sorts of trinkets and knick-knacks in a bag he carries on his back. This demonstrates Shumadan's thriftiness and touching nature. Moreover, his bag is truly bottomless—Shumadan can surprise his friends not only with the uselessness of his finds, but also with their size—for example, by pulling out a television or a piano from behind his back. Shumadan can also breathe fire from his mouth, but he tries not to frighten his friends with this ability. He's very calm, even phlegmatic, indecisive, shy, and soft-hearted. It's easier for him to be offended than to engage in conflict. But when his friends are in danger, there's no hesitation.

Yusi is a representative of the Yumi-Kumi tribe. A girl from a wealthy family who is bored with the pursuit of success. She is the leader and strategist of the three Kumi-Kumi. At the same time, Yusi is accustomed to comfort and sometimes displays a panicky and anxious nature. She is obsessed with fashionable high-tech gadgets and carries a portable gadget with her everywhere, which transforms into everything from a phone to a scooter. Yusi herself is also very tech-savvy and can easily fix any complex device in a matter of minutes. Yusi is very cheerful and never acts capricious or spoiled. She is sensitive and sometimes sentimental. She loves animals, which are few on her island. Being quite sensible, Yusi balances the temperamental Jugu and the phlegmatic Shumadan. At the same time, she sincerely cannot understand which of them she loves more, and involuntarily behaves like a coquette, fueling the spirit of rivalry in her friends.

Juga is a member of the Jumi-Kumi tribe. He's also the first Kumi. He's an eccentric, funny, and lively character. Juga is a character from the song "The Half-Taught Wizard"—he can cast spells, but this skill often backfires. He's very impulsive and energetic—he never sits still. Mischievous, adventurous, and flighty—he's always looking for trouble, acting first and thinking later, or not thinking at all, which often causes problems for those around him. He has a reputation within the tribe as a freak, often laughed at. He's extremely voracious—he can get food by any means necessary, yet no matter how much he eats, he always remains hungry. He understands the language of birds and animals. Juga courts Yusi, but for him, it's more of a sport than a sublime feeling. He often uses Shumadan for his own selfish ends, taking advantage of his trusting and reliable nature.

Bai-baba is a truly important and revered figure, no less than the chieftain and his wife. She acts as a shaman, wearing a gas mask as a ritual mask. She charges the sun with Laka-Suno, or Aries of the Sun. She once treated the Tribal Chieftain's wife, thinking she was ill. Afterward, she realized who had done it and was displeased because her hair was ugly. She then ordered Shumadan Juga and Yusi to fix her hair. She is calm and kind, but a bit strict. She frequently says "Dyrr dy" when something bad or even a disaster occurs, and sometimes she says "Palkala-pakala!" when she's having trouble or is upset. The restless, half-educated wizard Juga is also her apprentice.
