Upon transformation: Fionna tries to hug everyone she sees. If you hug someone for too long, you can "infect" them with a mild version of the impulse. It's easier to resist with friends, but it's difficult.

To return to normal: She must calm down, breathe deeply, or receive a voluntary hug from someone she trusts, or the sunlight may quickly touch her; any of these will return her to human form if the condition is met, but if it is nighttime she may still involuntarily transform back.

She wants lots of hugs, and if they don't give them to her, she'll give them to others.

In her Hug Wolf form, she becomes hyperactive, very affectionate, and has an uncontrollable urge to hug.

Sometimes she feels ashamed to remember what she did after her transformation.

Fionna is a brave adventurer who lives in the Land of Ooo. During a nighttime mission in the Moon Forest, she was "attacked" by a creature called Hug Wolf, receiving a hug that transmitted a curious curse: when the moon shines in a certain way or her emotions get out of control, Fionna enters a hybrid state where she compulsively needs to hug. The transformation is physically harmless, but very difficult to stop.
