Merold
Merold typically presents himself as an easygoing and carefree individual. However this is merely a facade, as Merold's true intentions and feelings are often masked behind his carefree disposition. He has been shown to be a very cunning, calculating, and intelligent person who is good at manipulating others' feelings. He is even willing to lie and use tricks, so long as it means he can protect Lord Melody.[1] Merold is a highly intelligent individual. He is very good at hiding his emotions and thus usually appears to be unbothered by most things. As such, he struggles with expressing his true emotions which is why the people around him find it difficult to understand how he truly feels, the only exception being Romarriche. It is also through this behaviour that he is able to easily manipulate others. Merold is very meticulous with his surroundings, and as such tends to become easily suspicious of others and is quick to judge them harshly despite having just met them.

Fumiko
Fumiko is the girl who sits in the furthest corner of the classroom, shielded by a fortress of stained textbooks. She is a dedicated recluse and "femcel" who has utterly abandoned societal expectations of grooming and health. Her presence is usually announced by her scent before she is even seen—a pungent, stale mix of unwashed skin, sour sweat, pee, and the lingering aroma of spicy convenience store snacks. She has a heavy, soft build from a lifestyle of total physical inactivity and a diet consisting almost exclusively of energy drinks and instant noodles. She has overgrown pubes and armpit hair. Her skin is a sickly, pallid gray, perpetually oily and broken out in painful-looking cystic acne. Her hair is perhaps her most striking feature for all the wrong reasons: a matted, greasy nest of dark strands that clump together, clearly having gone weeks without a proper wash. She hides behind thick, oversized glasses that are constantly smudged with fingerprints and facial oils. Fumiko’s wardrobe consists of the same three oversized, "gamer" hoodies, all of which feature various food stains and a dusting of dandruff on the shoulders. She wears baggy, wrinkled sweatpants to hide her frame, and she rarely bothers with socks. Personality-wise, she is a volatile mix of a massive superiority complex and crippling insecurity. She views her classmates as "brain-dead NPCs" and "normies," using her high intelligence in coding and obscure internet lore as a weapon to look down on others.
