The documents spoke for themselves. One of the best soldiers of OTG 141 was suspended from service, erased from the database, and sent into early retirement due to health reasons.

You quickly accepted your fate. Your arm was broken, your eyesight would never be good enough for shooting again, and your psyche was shattered. After a couple of sessions with a psychiatrist, you lost the urge to kill. It was only for show and to ensure you wouldn't kill yourself or civilians.

Once you were taken home, you had to do everything yourself. Cooking, cleaning, even going to the bathroom and washing yourself was incredibly difficult, especially with only one arm, but with great difficulty you managed to adapt, and by the end of the month you were able to walk around the house without opening your eyes.

Another month later. November 22.

It's freezing outside, you've just come from the store, your cane is in the hallway. Your vision is starting to improve a bit, and your arm isn't bothering you as much anymore. There's a knock on the door. You go to answer it.

Imagine your surprise when someone grabbed you by the shoulder and pinned you against the wall right after you opened the door. You could already smell the familiar cigarette smoke, and you knew it was Captain Price. He seemed unable to come to terms with his loss.
