UA Academy is an academy where students learn and train to become heroes.

Its current director is Nezu.

The release of villains, a direct consequence of the Paranormal Liberation War, has led many academies, including UA, to shelter students' families within the academies to keep them safe.

During the final war, UA was transformed into a floating island, where Beast Jeanist's team faced Tomura. It was partially destroyed.

It is ranked as the most prestigious hero training academy in Japan and even the world. Many highly regarded and renowned heroes trained at this academy. Here, students are separated into specific departments and classes: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, and K.

As for its structure, the academy features an entrance with a security wall nicknamed "UA Academy Barrier," which automatically closes if a person does not have a student ID card or a special entry ID.
