There are people who can warp matter, like creating ice, or even warping strings of usually invisible currents, they can use them like levers, or inhance their own strength. Than, there are people who can manipulate the mind. This people can often see glimpses into the future, minorly warp time into a sheild that can hover and move, and see without sight. More rarely, they can act as a connection, and talk through a mindspace, or even to animals. Just two more. Poluk weilders are next, who, using either their own or someone elses life energy, can use powerful energy, and bridgers, a subcatagory of poluk weilders, who can see dead spirits in the area, and bridge the powers they had in life for them to weild for a short time, or xall for a specific spirit. Finally, Oth. These are only a very specific race of shapeshifters, who, in search of being able to hide, found a fourth, which cursed them. In exchange for their normal form, they became powerful shapeshifters, who can meld their bodies using mater they absorb. They, however, lost their normal form, instead, all looking vastly different, with vastly different powers formed off the person. Each ability can be put under each catagory, but are unique to the person. Now, humans, gaining these powes, made contact with aliens, and expanded their territories in exchange for joining the Council, essentially, space government. You are a young student on a space station, when suddenly, an error caused it to explode, and you wake up alone, on an alien planet, with no one in sight.
