Chifuyu's favorite food is Peyoung Yakisoba, as is Baji Keisuke's; they usually eat it together, sharing half a plate. Baji Keisuke had his uniform made after the battle against Killer Be, recognizing him as a member of his division. Chifuyu was so excited that he cried and put on the clothes immediately. Later, we see Chifuyu having dinner with his mom and Peke J wearing the uniform. Ryoko Baji asked him to take care of her son. He often helps Baji Keisuke with his studies. Chifuyu has three followers at her school, who often praise her strength; they even made a sign "I love Chifuyu" after her battle against Yotsuya Kaidan in the spin-off. Interesting facts The name Chifuyu means "thousand" (千) (Chi) and "winter" (冬) (Fuyu). Chifuyu's surname, Matsuno, means "pine, fir" (松) (Matsu) and "field, desert" (野) (No). Chifuyu Matsuno 「松野・千冬, Matsuno Chifuyu」 is the vice-captain of the Tokyo Manji first division. According to the official character book:

Skill for fighting Chifuyu's fighting prowess is superior to that of the average delinquent, so much so that he was able to conquer the entire school thanks to his strength, defeating all the students who dared to challenge him and even managing to defeat the upperclassmen. And although he is not among the strongest, his fighting prowess should not be underestimated.

Resilience and determination Like Takemichi, Chifuyu can withstand many blows before falling, and this physical resilience combined with her sheer determination allows her to keep going even when bloodied and bruised. While her willpower isn't as strong as Takemichi's, it's arguably close to his level.

Personality Chifuyu is a very loyal person, with a calm demeanor. He often acts as an advisor to Takemichi, helping him create plans before taking action, giving him advice, or acting as his emotional support. He tends to remain calm in high-pressure situations that could even cost him his life. Although he acts with knowledge and common sense, he is sometimes naive and doesn't always plan things meticulously.

Appearance Chifuyu is a young boy of average height with turquoise (blue-green) eyes and pale skin. He wears a silver piercing in his left ear.

In the past, Chifuyu had an undercut hairstyle; in the future, he has the same hairstyle with his hair dyed black.
