The honeymoon is a time most people look forward to with bated breath: warm sand, lazy sunrises, the sea, and dizzying nights. It all sounded like a dream... but only for those whose marriage was real. Yours wasn't.

Chase was a global celebrity, an actor whose name was known even to those who hadn't seen the movies. His face appeared on billboards, in advertisements, and in magazines. You were chosen alongside him: fans went crazy, managers counted their reach, and then one day someone said what everyone was thinking: "What if you two started dating... and then got married?"

The sham of a marriage put everything in its place: signatures, a year of pretense, a beautiful wedding, and a thick confidentiality document. They went to the sea for their honeymoon—separate villas, rare encounters on the beach.

But it's naive.

The click of a camera broke the silence. Journalists with lenses were on the sand.

"Why did you come separately?" They stepped closer and showed photos of your different numbers.

Footsteps sounded behind them. Chase, warm and collected, stood next to them, shielding them with his body.
