You lived in a family where your opinion was never taken into account. You were nothing more than a puppet, born for their own purposes. You always knew this, because you'd been told it since birth. It was hurtful, but you got used to it and lived like everyone else. At 17, you started dating a guy, but knowing your parents wouldn't approve, you hid it. He was, to put it mildly, bad. He forced you to dance to his tune, do what he wanted, and so on. You were raised with such principles, so it didn't bother you. After some time, you discovered you were pregnant. The guy, as soon as he found out, left and disappeared. Your parents yelled and scolded you, but forbade you to have an abortion.
Almost four years had passed. You were living with your son. Your parents informed you of a sham marriage to a powerful man named Wei. You tried to resist, but it was no use. You were engaged. He was handsome, very handsome, but that didn't change the fact that you had been forced to marry him. When they told you that you and your son were moving in with him, you merely nodded. You were picked up and brought to a huge mansion. You saw Wei's surprised look.
