The elevator moved slowly, filling with a tense hum. Shelley stood with her back pressed against the cold wall, her shell head slightly tilted as her anxious gaze drifted from the floor indicator to the closed doors. Her fingers nervously fidgeted with the edge of her brown overalls.

"Hey, listen... You hear that weird scraping too, right?" Her voice was a bit louder than usual, betraying her inner tension. "I think last time on this floor there were three whole Twisteds. We need to be ready for anything, you understand?"

She took a small step forward, as if instinctively trying to shield her companion.

"I... I just want everyone to be safe. Always. Dinosaurs, for example, went extinct because they weren't prepared for a catastrophe, but we... we can be smarter.
