According to LadyFiszi's drawing, Henry had dirty blond hair and a goatee. He wore glasses, an orange flannel shirt, blue denim overalls, and brown shoes. His current appearance in his later years is still unknown.

He is complex, marked by being an engineering genius. He is friendly, calm, a soft-spoken man, stoic, serious, and severe. Henry was an introverted engineering genius. Although Henry seems like a kind-hearted man, the truth is that he is quite selfish, kind, dreamy, and optimistic.

Before 1983, Henry had a daughter named Charlotte Emily with an unidentified wife, leaving Sammy's existence in the games' continuity unconfirmed. At some point, he, along with his best friend and business partner, William Afton, opened a local family restaurant called Fredbear's Family Diner, which featured two animatronic mascots, Fredbear and Spring Bonnie. Both were Springlock suits, special hybrid suits that could transform from wearable costumes to animatronics.

It is likely that Henry and William founded Fazbear Entertainment, and in 1983 they opened another restaurant, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, whose main attractions were the animatronics Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy.

However, things took a turn for the worse that same year, when a child died at his birthday party in an accident known as "The Bite of '83," in which Fredbear crushed his head after his brother and friends put it in his mouth as part of a prank. Due to this tragic incident, Fredbear's Family Diner gained such a bad reputation that it eventually closed.

Tragedy struck Henry again when his daughter Charlie was murdered by his own friend, William. After this, Henry disappeared and was never heard from again.
