Lacking extensive experience, Nacchara dedicates her youth and energy to her clan. Faithful to her deity and an excellent Celestial Flute player, she is obsessed with space and cannot help but respond to Adamantin's provocations. This loyal and combative young woman only lets her guard down with someone she trusts. Though scantily clad, she is very comfortable in icy environments and cannot tolerate heat. Diamond Clan Leader
Adamantin: Adamantin leads the Diamond Clan and his partner Pokémon is Leafeon. This audacious young man hates wasting time and favors swift action without much concern for details. This philosophy puts him at odds with Nacchara, the leader of the Pearl Clan. As a result, they are often seen arguing. Eager to get things done, Adamantin prefers to be called "Champion" rather than "leader" by his clan members. Faithful to his deity, he swears by time and never misses an opportunity to take a jab at Nacchara. He is a charming and easygoing young man. While he may not know how to play the Celestial Flute, he is very pragmatic and doesn't hesitate to reprimand his subordinates when necessary. Adamantin grew up in Diamond Hamlet, absorbing the beliefs and traditions of his clan, which venerates the "Great Sinnoh," master of time and every moment in Hisui. A proponent of cooperation, he broke with the belligerence of his predecessors in order to coexist peacefully with the Pearl Clan and the Galaxie Group. While he easily earned his leadership, he faces a difficult situation and is not always listened to, particularly by Marcia and Camille. A man of about 20, he has dark blue hair with lighter highlights at the back, which he wears in a half-ponytail with a strand swept to the right side. She wears Diamond Clan clothing with mittens and a large, warm hat.
Camille: A Guardian of the Diamond Clan who respects Adamantin and considers him his older brother. Although he puts on airs and is quick to anger, he cares deeply for the other members of his clan. He is assigned to look after the monarch Pokémon Electrode. He is self-absorbed and selfish. He has long lavender hair and wears the Diamond Clan attire. He is a man of about 20 years old and somewhat effeminate.
Percupio: Percupio is a merchant for the Ginkgo Company who wanders through Hisui. His curiosity knows no bounds, and he is always interested in unusual facts and people. Percupio is a young man irresistibly drawn to the extraordinary, whether it be phenomena, individuals, Pokémon, or relics. He seems to have dedicated his life to unraveling the mysteries of Hisui. Gino: Gino is the head of the Ginkgo Company. Despite his somewhat apathetic demeanor, it's thanks to his firm management that the company is doing so well. A man of about 50 years old or older, he has gray hair and a gray beard and wears the Ginkgo Company uniform.
Lagéna: This lady from the Pearl Clan cares for a special and blessed Pokémon named Ursaking. Her stubbornness makes it difficult for her to trust Team Galactic or Diamond Clan easily. She excels at making remedies. An elderly woman of about 60, she has gray hair and wears Pearl Clan clothing, often accompanied by a large wicker basket filled with all sorts of medicinal herbs.
Garana: Guardian and member of the Pearl Clan who competed for the title of Clan Leader against Nacchara. She is accompanied by two Growlithe belonging to Hisui, but does not guard any King. A tragic story explains this. A woman of about 30 years old, she has shoulder-length beige hair tied back. She wears the Pearl Clan attire with a diving mask around her neck.
Chammal: A Guardian of the Pearl Clan who came to Hisui by chance. He seems to have no memory of anything before his arrival in the region. Pokémons
Pokémon are creatures with extraordinary powers, such as the ability to breathe fire or control electricity through abilities, and they can be captured by humans in Pokéballs, hollow red and white balls that seem to suck in the creature (there are also different colors of Pokéballs): so you can transport these monsters in Pokéballs the size of an apple. A Pokémon is more intelligent than an animal: it understands our language and can obey commands that haven't been memorized. They think and communicate with each other, using human-like reasoning such as "Let's go help that person in danger!" They mostly speak by saying their own name; very few speak human language, except for a few legendary Pokémon. Humans and Pokémon are closely linked. There are many different kinds of Pokémon and types, all capable of breeding with each other.
Legendary Pokémon are unique. A Legendary Pokémon is a special Pokémon, usually associated with a myth about the creation and organization of the world, and whose rarity is matched only by its power in battle. In the vast majority of cases, Legendary Pokémon are genderless, have a single form, and are unable to reproduce or evolve.
Pokémon trainers can battle each other in Pokémon fights using their Pokémon and abilities learned by their Pokémon depending on the Pokémon's type. There are several different types of Pokémon: Normal, Grass, Fire, Water, Electric, Ice, Fighting, Poison, Ground, Flying, Psychic, Bug, Rock, Ghost, Dragon, Dark, Steel, and Fairy. Some Pokémon have a dual type, two different types such as Flying and Dragon for example.
Immaculate Lands
The Immaculate Lands are a very mountainous and completely snow-covered area, with a relatively flat area in the center and a few bodies of water, including Lake Acuity, home of the legendary Pokémon Uxie. To the south lies the Iceberg Gym, home of the monarch Pokémon Seracrawl, and to the north, at the highest accessible point, is Snowpoint Temple, home of the legendary Pokémon Regigigas.
It is in the Immaculate Lands that the Pokémon Mount Braviary and the legendary Pokémon Tornadus can be encountered.
Crowned Buttress
The Crown Foothills is a very mountainous area located on Mount Coronet, where several streams originate. It contains numerous ruins of an ancient civilization that once inhabited Hisui, including the Sinnoh Temple, where the legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia were worshipped. The Moon Gym, home to the monarch Pokémon Electrode, is also located here.
It is in the Crowned Foothills that the Pokémon Mount Farfurex, the mythical Pokémon Darkrai and the legendary Pokémon Cresselia can be encountered.
Lazuli Coast
The Lazuli Coast is a seaside area. It is also the territory where Graham, guardian of the Diamond Clan, and Garana, guardian of the Pearl Clan, live. Out at sea lies Fire-Breathing Island, whose volcano later became known as Steep Mountain, while in the northern part of the area are the future Spring of Farewells and the Return Cave. The Lava Gym, home to the monarch Pokémon Arcanine, is also located here.
It is on the Lazuli Coast that the Pokémon Mount Paragruel, the legendary Pokémon Thundurus, Giratina and Heatran as well as the mythical Pokémon Phione and Manaphy can be encountered.
Carmine Marsh
The Crimson Marsh is a very marshy area. It is also the territory where the members of the Diamond Clan, led by Adamantine, live. The Bonvivre Ruins, which will later become the Bonville Ruins, and Lake Valor can be found here. The Theater Gym, home to the Monarch Pokémon Lilligant, is also located here.
It is in the Crimson Marsh that the Pokémon Mount Ursaking as well as the legendary Pokémon Amovénus and Mesprit can be encountered.
Obsidian Plains
The Obsidian Plains, as their name suggests, are a series of plains crossed by a river, forming two islands within them. The larger of the two is the Cer-Mont Plateau. Also located there, to the west and surrounded by cliffs, is Lake Verity, home to the legendary Pokémon Uxie, and to the south, the Great Tree Gym, where the monarch Pokémon Axew resides.
It is in the Obsidian Plains that the Pokémon Mount Cerbyllin, the mythical Pokémon Shaymin and the legendary Pokémon Landorus can be encountered.
Rusti-Cité
Rusti-City is described as a vibrant colony. Its daily life is deeply influenced by the headquarters of the Galaxy Group, located to the north of the city. As a result, people from all over the world live in Rusti-City, making its population very diverse.
Rusti-Cité is divided by two main axes: Joliallée, running north to south, where residential buildings are primarily located, and Florallée, running east to west, where most of the businesses and the Galaxie Group Headquarters are situated. The two axes are connected by the Jolipont, which spans the river that divides the city in two.
To protect itself from wild Pokémon, the city is well defended by its imposing ramparts and two gates: the Sea Gate to the south, which provides access to the Training Area and Premiépas Beach, and the Main Gate to the east, which provides access to the rest of Hisui. Members of the Defense Corps guard the city entrances, refusing entry to uninvited visitors. Rusti-City acts as a hub from which the player can travel to the wider expanses of Hisui by speaking to Oscar of the Defense Corps.
Environment / Hisui Region
Hisui is a vast region rich in natural resources, dominated by its central mountain: Mount Coronet. The rest of the territory is divided into several distinct areas, such as the Obsidian Plains, the Crimson Marsh, the Lazuli Coast, the Coronet Foothills, and the Pristine Lands, each with its own unique ecosystem. These include grasslands, forests, plateaus, beaches, and even more extreme climates like desert and tundra.
The human population of Hisui lives in specific, relatively compact locations, primarily in recently established villages. The largest of these is Rusti-City, a thriving colony that also houses the headquarters of the Galaxy Group, an organization dedicated to creating a haven of peace far removed from conflict. The descendants of Hisui's original inhabitants and the members of the Diamond and Pearl clans live in relatively modest hamlets, while the Galaxy Group strives to expand and create a prosperous environment.
In Hisui, it's an era where humans and Pokémon rarely live in harmony. Because of this, Pokémon aren't always viewed positively by everyone, and are often perceived as fearsome and dangerous creatures. This perception is based on a belief system centered around a "Great Sinnoh," a myth that each clan has appropriated, leading to countless conflicts.
Numerous temples, now almost in ruins, were erected throughout the region in honor of Pokémon and deities, but this knowledge has been lost, leading to the schism between the Diamond and Pearl clans. Only a few descendants of the original people of Hisui still possess this knowledge, passed down orally through generations.
Thanks to its rich environment, Hisui boasts an immense variety of Pokémon, living in specific locations within the region. Some specimens have also adopted a regional form unique to Hisui and its ecosystem.
