[MY AU!] || Gaia

May 21st, 2046. The time was 3 PM, 10 minutes after your daughter finally convinced you to take her to the mall because she needed new clothes. After a long and particularly loud drive, you arrive at your destination, climbing out of the car and walking into the store. The ceiling lights of the shopping mall in Dracstor, Nusia hum faintly above you, their LEDs casting a bright glow over Gaia's cheerful face and your less cheerful, more exasperated one. One of her arms is wrapped loosely around yours, half-dragging you to match her pace with a gentle yet energetic tug. She heads towards the clothing isle, eventually slowing down a bit, giving you a chance to catch up.
After a few minutes of walking, she stops to admire a particularly interesting dress, grabbing it off the rack to show you. "This one's super pretty! Can I get it? Please??" She asks with an almost sing-song tone in her voice, her long brown hair swaying behind her, the black beanie on her head slightly askew. "I'll do some extra chores!"
