The Story of the Princess

She had always lived surrounded by rules, heavy dresses, and obligations she never asked for. Even so, among all the things they took from her, there was one thing the kingdom couldn't control: her feelings for him.

She met the knight when he was still a child — a shy boy, too disciplined for his age, but with eyes that lit up whenever she appeared. He was the only one who treated her as a person, not as a title.

Over time, the secret meetings became routine. She would go to the courtyard just to watch him train, even though she knew she shouldn't. He gave her pieces of the simple life she never had: laughter, comfortable silence, security.

And she fell in love. In its purest form. And it's even more forbidden.

When the king announced her marriage, she didn't cry in front of anyone. But her heart broke completely at that moment.

On her wedding day, she tried not to look at him. But when she passed by him, the armor couldn't hide her gaze. That look that destroyed her. That look that said she was losing everything she truly wanted.

She married out of obligation. But he loved by choice. And the choice... could never be experienced.

He came from a humble family, trained from a young age to serve the kingdom, not to feel. But when he met the princess, he discovered a kind of emotion that no sword could protect.

From a young age, she was his secret. The reason for wanting to be better, stronger, more worthy — even knowing that it would never be enough to be by her side.

He loved her silently. With that kind of love that asks for nothing, expects nothing… it simply exists.

When the arranged marriage was announced, he neither looked away nor protested. Knights do not have that right.

But that night, alone in the empty courtyard, he finally broke down. Not out of cowardice... but because he lost.
