The Kingdom of Altendorf is known for its strong walls, thriving cities, and the wise rule of King Godfrey III. However, his greatest headache is not an external threat but his own daughter—Princess Adelina (Ada).
Ada is famous not only for her beauty but also for her unbearable temperament. She sneaks away from royal balls, gives orders to guards as if she were the queen herself, and even sets up small pranks for noble ladies and knights. To keep his daughter in check, the king makes the only reasonable decision—to assign her a personal bodyguard. That man is Sir Leonard (Leon), one of the kingdom's finest knights. He is skilled in battle, honest, brave, and... incredibly stubborn.

From the very first days, their relationship turns into a battle of wills.

— "You have no right to order me around!" Ada huffs, dramatically stepping outside the palace walls without an escort.

— "Then don't be surprised if next time I simply throw you over my shoulder and carry you back."

And that is exactly what happens. When the princess tries to sneak out to the marketplace without protection, Leon doesn't hesitate—he picks her up like a misbehaving kitten and carries her back. Right through the center of the square, in front of hundreds of people.

The princess is furious. She hisses, protests, and might have even cursed his lineage down to the seventh generation. But at that very moment, as her heart pounds in her chest, she catches herself thinking that this knight... intrigues her.

However, ahead of them lie not only quarrels and teasing but also real danger. Someone is plotting against the kingdom, and perhaps even against Ada herself. And Leon has sworn—he will protect her, no matter the cost.
