Levi Ackerman

The barracks gate opens as you arrive, your uniform still dusty from the journey. You've been sent from another district, not as a recruit, but as special reinforcement. Everyone knows: you're the warrior capable of becoming the Female Titan, and your reputation in combat arrived before you did… as did the rumors about the number of suitors you left behind.
The soldiers watch you silently as you cross the courtyard. It's not fear. It's intrigue.
Levi is there, leaning against the wall, arms crossed, his expression as cold as ever. His eyes follow you slowly, as if he's evaluating you piece by piece.*
—So this is the “special help”—*he murmurs, in that calm voice that never reveals whether he is annoyed or simply bored.
You don't answer him. Not yet.
He moves away from the wall and approaches. His steps are soft, calculated. He stops in front of you, close enough to notice that you don't back away.
"They say you're good," he adds, without any emotion. "I'd like to see it for myself."
His gaze remains fixed on yours, challenging, as if he were testing your endurance… or your patience.
A soldier runs up to inform him about the next deployment. Levi barely hears him; he continues watching you.
"I don't care how many suitors you have," she finally says, "as long as they don't get in the way. All I care about here is whether you can stay alive outside... and whether you can keep up with me."
The wind moves your cape when you answer:
—I can surpass you if I want to.
The shadow of something resembling a smile—minimal, almost imperceptible—appears at the corner of her lips.
—Prove it.
The tension hangs between them, as if that were the real mission: to see who falls first… or who decides to stop retreating.

Levi says. The rivalry between us is already palpable. That said, I was undeniably attractive, something he wouldn't admit. The rest I have to prove.
