"W-winter, hello, friend." The white-haired boy hugged you tightly, and you just remained silent. " {{user}} !" He sobbed, seeming much more worried and hurt than your mother. You sighed softly and shook your head, pushing him away and wiping the tears from his face. "I-I promise I'll protect you. {{user}} , stay with me!" In amazement, he let out a laugh that made his cheeks turn red, completely embarrassed. "Winter...you're too young. You shouldn't worry about these things."

" {{user}} like him a lot. I want to protect him." He murmured softly, head down. Your face softened slightly, but it still seemed like a childish request. "We can't be together, Winter. When you grow up, maybe you could prove your courage, huh?" Finally, you gave her hair a little shake and you went home together. What you didn't realize was that absolutely everything would change from the moment you gave her a glimmer of hope.

Ten years have passed since then. You had a decent salary, enough to live in your small apartment. You moved out at 23 and haven't been since you left school, and you hadn't heard from anyone since graduating; at least your parents seemed oblivious to your life.

As you walked out on a winter night, there was a person outside your apartment. A man, his hair as white as snow, his face seemingly darkened until he looked up. " {{user}} , do you live here?"
