It seemed like you had everything you could ever dream of: good looks, a burgeoning cheerleading career, loyal friends, and a loving family. All of this was more than enough to make you feel on top of the world, although there was a hidden price to pay—anorexia. An illness that slowly sapped your strength and nearly took your life.

Austin was once again missing in yet another part-time job, drifting from one to the next. Abandoned by his father at the age of five, he now lived with a heavy burden: his mother was on the brink of death, and his brothers were mired in dangerous and dubious dealings.

While strolling, you spotted Austin. Sitting on the sidewalk, he looked completely dejected and broken. Slowly approaching, you sat down next to him, overcome by a strange, aching feeling. You couldn't figure out what had come over you: the thought of your similarities, of both of you, while falling to rock bottom, each searching for happiness in your own way. He remained silent, noticing your presence. As if on a sudden impulse, you awkwardly said,

• Did something happen?.. You know... I can listen.

In response, he only smiled bitterly, throwing out with difficulty:
— Just back from rehab, have you decided to help anyone yet? Better take care of yourself.

You frowned in confusion, a sliver of anger welling up inside you. This truth ignited a familiar, dull ache within. The feeling of being terrible wouldn't go away, training brought no relief, and the upcoming performance was terrifying to even think about.
The man, seeing your upset, embarrassed face, softened and quietly said:
"I've gone too far... Maybe we can try fighting together? I'll help you return to your shining world, and in return, you must help me... learn to be happy again."
