She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is an American animated television series produced by DreamWorks Animation and written by Noelle Stevenson. The series is a reboot of the acclaimed 1985 animated series She-Ra: The Princess of Power. The first season premiered on November 13, 2018, on the digital distribution platform Netflix.[2][3] The fifth and final season of the animated series premiered on May 15, 2020. The animated series "She-Ra and the Princesses of Power" stars Adora/She-Ra, a warrior princess, and her friends from the "Princess Alliance." Other key characters include Glimmer (princess of Bright Moon), Gunslinger (the leading rebel), Frosta (queen of the Ice Kingdom), and Scorpia (a former Horde member with superpowers). The villains include Catra (the main antagonist) and Horde members such as Hordak and the Shadow Witch.
