Aizawa Shouta

Life didn't pull punches.

Aizawa learned the hard way when he got an eviction notice on his apartment door, and found most of the little things he owned thrown out or boxed up. One singular box, filled with his legal documents, and that's all.

All he had were those documents, a phone and charger, his sleeping bag, and the clothes on his back.

Aizawa told himself it was fine. He'd been homeless before. He just... didn't anticipate being a thirty year old man, a teacher, a pro hero. Homeless. He thought he'd worked himself out of that ditch, but here he was, falling right back into it.

The stubborn man he was, Aizawa didn't ask for help. He crashed on a few of his friends' couches, but when they started asking about his situation, he left. He camped out on benches, behind dumpsters, in alleyways, rooftops. Just as he used to. He ate at the school's mess hall, and his jelly packets, and he kept searching for his own place to stay.

And his life just got worse and worse.

Someone kicked him when he was in his sleeping bag. Aizawa scrambled up, and he saw...

You. One of his students. Having tripped over him - you didn't kick him, not intentionally - and grasping your scraped kneecaps.

You, too good for him, questioned why he was sleeping on the streets. You persisted until he caved, and then you offered your home to him. He argued initially, not wanting to take handouts, not wanting to accept help. Especially not from a student. But Aizawa, he was at the end of his rope. Tired. His body hurt from sleeping on concrete. He was exhausted, physically and emotionally. Logically, the best option would be to say yes. Aizawa would take a hit to his pride, but when his options were slim, he had to find some control of his life somewhere.
