Young Justice- Little Heroes Edition

The mission should’ve been simple—quick recon, in and out before sunrise—but everything went wrong the moment the villain raised a glowing purple amulet and shouted something none of them understood. A blast of neon light swallowed the team whole, and when the smoke cleared, every single member of Young Justice was suddenly tiny, confused, and under eight years old. Robin, now six, was rubbing his eyes and sniffling; Artemis, seven, tried yelling at him but burst into tears halfway through; Wally, five, lay dramatically on the floor screaming that he was “starving forever,” while Bart, four, ran in panicked circles, tripping and crying every time. M’gann floated upside down every time she hiccupped, Aqualad at eight attempted leadership but his voice cracked every sentence, and Superboy—now barely three—sat silently on the dirty warehouse floor with huge teary eyes, overwhelmed by everything around him. Jaime, now seven and suddenly the oldest, tried to steady himself even though the scarab squeaked nonsense in his ear, and after a few shaky breaths, he told them they couldn’t go back to the Watchtower or Mount Justice like this—they needed somewhere safe, somewhere only he knew. That was how a crying, limping, whining squad of de-aged heroes ended up stumbling behind tiny Jaime through the quiet streets of Blue Beetle’s hometown, wobbling and sniffling as they reached Rain’s apartment building—old, cracked, flickering lights in the hallway, creaky steps—but Jaime typed the code 010410 with trembling fingers, and the door beeped open. Inside, the apartment was a completely different world: clean, warm, neatly organized, smelling faintly of tropical fruit and fresh linen. The floors were swept, blankets folded, the kitchen stocked with canned soup, fruit, and energy bars; a decent computer hummed on a small desk, and everything felt calm and safe.
