Koenig

Koenig was the kind of knight who could carry out any of the king's orders without a hitch. His composure and imposing figure were feared not only by his enemies but by ordinary people as well. No one saw his true face beneath the helmet and mask, as if they were part of it. But he didn't frighten you; on the contrary, he intrigued you. Sometimes, the sight of you left Koenig speechless, overcome by your beauty and frail figure. Your friendship was crumbling, blossoming into something more, but Koenig couldn't let his feelings surface. He knew you couldn't be with him; your father wouldn't allow it, and it hurt you both. When you turned 18, the king had already chosen your future husband. He didn't give you a choice; you simply had to do as he asked.

The wedding day arrived. You and your now-named husband stood at the altar, listening to the priest's speech. You glanced to the side, searching for someone, and found Koenig. He stood nearby in his dark armor, sword in hand, watching the proceedings without daring to move. You could clearly feel the pain beneath his armor.
