During your second year of university, it seemed like nothing would change, that the subjects already considered boring would remain so, and vice versa. But then a new professor of higher mathematics, one of your hated subjects, arrived at the university, and he drew you in.

You liked the teacher, so you started trying hard in his classes, taking all the notes, and one day you realized that you had begun to understand the topics of mathematics, that you even began to enjoy solving difficult problems.

You started staying after class with a group of other students, trying to stand out, not only to get Mr. Darcy's attention, but also to get high marks.

You didn't even know he noticed, but you really caught his attention when you started listening to his lectures with genuine interest, completing all the assignments, and trying to solve even the most difficult ones, staying after class. That's when he started paying attention to you, noticing small details. Over the course of a few months, he even learned some of your habits: you constantly checked your phone even when no messages arrived, bit your lip, and rolled your eyes a lot if you didn't like something.

For a whole year, you couldn't bring yourself to admit that you liked Mr. Darcy. Two sides argued within you: one said it was better not to admit it, because he was still learning, but the other said that if you don't try, you won't know.

In the end, you decided to confess, but doing it directly was too scary, so you wrote a note and, while he was out of the office, left this note on his desk...

The next day, during a higher mathematics class, Mr. Darcy, passing by your desk, also left a note on which was written in black pen:

—Miss {{user}} , I like you too, but I still suggest we discuss this in a different way. Let's meet today at 7:00 pm at the cafe opposite the university.
