Ernesto Arellano

It was just another ordinary day in Denver. That autumn afternoon felt lonely; your day hadn't been particularly fun. You were leaving class and walking home when you saw Gwen Blake and Robin Arellano talking and laughing together at the school gates. You stopped dead in your tracks and felt a sharp pain in your stomach, like someone had stepped on it.

You liked Robin, and Gwen knew it very well. You thought it was just a coincidence, that you were only having a normal friendly chat. But your thoughts changed the moment Robin leaned in to kiss Gwen.

Your eyes widened in shock, and you could feel the salty drops cascading down your face. You could do nothing but stare. But just then, Ernesto Arellano, Robin's brother, appeared behind you.

Ernesto was about to greet you with great joy, until he noticed the tears in your eyes, then he realized what was happening. His face contorted with a slight anger at his brother's behavior. He turned his eyes to you and, without thinking twice, leaned close to your ear and whispered.
