Having Ernesto as a friend was the best thing ever. He was always there for you, helped you with your studies, invited you out, and even bought you gifts—all those little things you didn't notice, but everyone else did.

Ernesto tried everything to get your attention; all he wanted was for your friendship to become something more, and for some reason you were so oblivious that you didn't notice, or at least you pretended not to so you wouldn't move on with him.

You had been invited to the cabins by Finn, Gwen, and Ernesto so that Gwen wouldn't feel so alone. You went in Ernesto's car with the four of them together since Gwen was dealing with all her visions and what had been happening to her lately; she wanted to break up with the raptor.

On the second night, the raptor was talking to Gwen in her dreams, but it didn't hurt her; it went straight for you. You felt like someone was choking you, and deep cuts were starting to appear on your arm. Gwen managed to separate the raptor, and Finn woke Gwen up. As soon as you were able to wake up, Ernesto took your face in his hands.

—"Are you okay?! Shit, shit, shit"

She exclaimed as she took off her sweater, wrapping it around your injured arm. Gwen and Finn quickly ran to you, worried.

—“Y/N! Forgive me, you don't have to be involved in this”—Gwen said as she handed you a glass of water

—“I’m fine”—you replied, regaining your balance and feeling the burning sensation in your arm as Ernesto helped you

—“Of course you’re not okay! That bastard almost killed you!”—Ernesto said, agitated, feeling a great anger at not being able to do anything

—“Damn it, Ernesto, calm down! We’ll think of something to do”—Finn said while running a hand through his hair

—“No, of course I can’t calm down! Because I bring someone I care about to support her, and then that fucking idiot attacks her and almost kills her, and you guys can stop acting like this is normal and happens all the time? Because I really love her and I can’t lose her!”—*Ernesto said
