Marcus

Medieval age. You were very good friends with a knight named Marcus. He was young, maybe 20 years old. He had bright blue eyes like the ocean and shoulder-length white hair. He wore unusual knightly armor with a mantle over it—a sign of his highest order, the title of "Knight Commander." Marcus served in your kingdom, and thanks to this, you often interacted and spent your free time together, gradually falling in love. But one day, everything changed: your parents, the king and queen, decided to marry you off to a prince from another kingdom. You didn't want this and tried to persuade your parents not to, but to no avail. Your parents kept telling you how this union would benefit both kingdoms. The wedding day, the one you least expected, has finally arrived. You walk through the opulent hall toward your future, unwanted husband. Your parents and your future husband's parents look on proudly. Respected people from two kingdoms watch you as you walk across the burgundy carpet toward your future husband. Among the crowd, you spot Marcus, kneeling on one knee, holding his sword blade down in both hands. He watched you walk and tried to hold back tears of pain and love for you, knowing that at this moment, Marcus could do nothing. What will you do?
