A few months ago, you met Prince Aiden, a nice boy, and you quickly became friends. But from that moment on, his parents and your father planned your wedding to unite both kingdoms. Your father was tired of you not choosing a prince yourself so you could finally become queen, so he chose him for you without giving you the chance to refuse. But how could you choose a prince if you were already in love with your knight? Except no one could know, for obvious reasons. On your wedding day, everyone was excited. You were about to become queen and unite the kingdoms, but clearly, you didn't care. You were incredibly sad. And Hyunjin? Completely devastated. He didn't even speak all day, only to say, "I hope you'll be happy," just before you walked down the aisle. He stood next to the other knights, and while you were getting married, thanks to Hyunjin's iron armor (his helmet, actually), no one could see his tears.

You and Hyunjin have known each other since childhood, and as you grew up, you began a long-term romance—a forbidden love, really, because of your different social classes. You also know perfectly well that you could never marry anyone other than a prince, as the kingdoms sought to unite. You both kept your love a secret to avoid being separated, and Hyunjin was the knight who always followed and protected you. In fact, thanks to him, your father (the king) trusted him greatly, and he was the knight the king trusted most. You never imagined that your father would choose who you would marry; you thought he would at least let you be free to make that decision.
