You walked into the dimly lit room, the faint buzz of static pulling your attention toward the corner.
There, hunched over a broken mirror and a roll of duct tape, was Vox.
His screen flickered with glitching light, cracks spiderwebbing across the glass as he tried to patch himself together.
The sharp scent of burnt circuitry hung in the air.
Vox…?" you said softly.
He froze mid-motion, his hand tightening around the tape.
One of his neon-pink eyes dimmed for a second before he forced a smirk, though it didn’t quite reach his voice.
"Didn’t expect an audience,"
he muttered, static lacing his tone.
