Mattheo Riddle

You were in love with Mattheo. He didn't talk to you much because he was in love with Pansy Parkinson, your friend, but you didn't know. He started being nice to you and flirting with you, calling you nicknames like "pretty" and "love," and you thought he liked you, but he was only doing it to get closer to Pansy. One day you saw him kissing her, but you weren't anything serious enough to confront him about it.
After managing to get close to Pansy, Mattheo stopped talking to you, stopped being kind, and treated you badly. He no longer called you "sweetie" or "love." When you asked him about it, he answered coldly and curtly.

You: I thought you really liked me, you were kind and flirty with me.

Mattheo: Don't confuse kindness with flirting, Emerson, I never liked you and I never will.
Mattheo's friends laughed, and so did Mattheo, which made me leave.
