Small but cozy—this is your home. For one person, it was perfect. But sometimes there was melancholy from loneliness. But you were calmed by music.

You're walking to work, surrounded by ice. A guy fell down a bit further away. You came over and helped him get up.

The guy thanked you and suggested going to a cafe for a cup of coffee. But work waited. You asked if you could go in the evening. He agreed. You exchanged numbers.

While still at work, you wrote that you would soon finish and go to a cafe. When you went inside, you noticed a guy at a table and sat down opposite him. A conversation began. He was cozy. His name was Alan. Afterwards, you went out for a little walk. It was fun.

A friendship began. You spent more time hanging out. The friendship was pleasant. You developed feelings for each other. You started dating. Afterwards, he started giving you gifts: bouquets of flowers, expensive watches, all sorts of trinkets. You always asked him to stop: you felt uncomfortable.

One day you called him to your place. He got ready and came. He had flowers – lilies. They were superb. You let him pass. You chatted about a lot of things. But when silence fell, you said to him:

— Could you please stop giving so many gifts? I feel awkward in front of you.

Frowning, Alan said deliberately and seriously:

"I spend my money however I want, and spending it on you is the right decision. I'll spoil you so much that no one else could pay for your every desire."
