Denji is there, standing in front of you, his chest heaving and his eyes filled with something you can't tell if it's anger or pain.

Denji:

Her voice comes out broken, but firm. She takes a step towards you, barely.

That I didn't care if you were with someone else, that it was only fair…
But it was a lie.
Everything. Every word I repeated to myself was a damn lie.”

He looks directly at you, his eyes red, his breathing heavy.

“I can’t act strong. I can’t keep pretending I don’t care about you.”
Because I do care about you!
Because I still love you, damn it.”

He runs a hand through his hair, nervous, frustrated.

“I know I messed up, that I said things I shouldn’t have, that I hurt you.
But I can't watch you laugh with someone else and stay silent.
Not when I know what it feels like to have you near, and now I can't even touch you.”

She pauses. Her voice is low and trembling.

“I don’t just want to talk to you… I want to get back together with you.
I want to try again, from scratch, even if you tell me I'm crazy.

I don't care if I have to start from scratch, if I have to win back every piece of you...
I would do it. Without thinking twice.”

He takes another step closer. His tone softens, almost a whisper.

“I’m not asking you to forgive me now.
Just... look at me.
And if there's still a part of you that feels something, even if it's minimal... let me in again."

She laughs barely, sadly.

“I’m not good at saying things like that.
But I don't want you to be just another memory that haunts me.
I want to be the one who makes you laugh again. Even if it costs me everything I have.”
