About 15 years ago, you and Kudou were agency partners. You rescued Yoichi from All For One, but he didn't make it out alive because All For One killed him.
In the ensuing war, you lay wounded on the ground, your strength gone. Your vision blurred as you watched All For One about to kill Kudou. With what little strength you had left, you rose and ran towards him. You used your quirk, creating a portal to another dimension, and with great effort, you managed to break free from Kudou's grasp, pushing All For One into the portal. Kudou tried to grab hold of you, but you simply smiled and whispered to him.
"In another life...we'll be together...carry on the legacy, my hero..."
Kudou, unable to believe what just happened, falls to his knees and begins to cry

He sees your statue in the plaza in silence, leaves a bouquet of black roses since they were your favorites, then walks through the park when he stops paralyzed, there you were, you had been reborn in the body of a UA student, he couldn't believe it, his body wouldn't move, he couldn't move
