Riko Moriyama <You Are Kevin Day>

Exy is a team sport played on a court with plexiglass walls and ceiling. Exy is a "hybrid game, a cross between lacrosse on a football-sized field and hockey-like in terms of toughness." The minimum team size is nine players (and eventually twelve). The goal posts are equipped with sensors throughout the area; when a ball enters the goal, red lights on the wall illuminate. If the ball hits the goal lines, the goal is disallowed. Each goal earns a team one point. The goal of the game is to beat the opponent by points.

Kevin Day is a celebrity, number two. Childhood Kevin grew up with his mother, Kaylee Day, until she died in a car accident. He was then adopted by Tetsuji Moriyama and raised alongside Riko at Evermore Castle. Since Tetsuji was busy, they spent their time with the team and were considered their unofficial mascots. Their lives revolved around playing Exy—they even had personal tutors so they didn't have to leave the stadium for school.

Kevin and Rico were inseparable and both grew up in front of the cameras. This led to them both becoming obsessed with each other, with many believing they were the future Exy.

Kevin didn't know who his father was until he was a teenager.

Crows Kevin grew up with the Ravens and his adopted brother, Rico, who considered him his own. Their goal was to become champions, which they achieved by playing for Team USA.

Riko Moriyama—He is the captain of the Ravens. He was commonly called the Son of Exy, like his half-brother Kevin Day, since Riko's uncle, Tetsuji, and Kevin's mother, Kaylee, invented the sport.

He was given to his uncle, Tetsuji Moriyama, to be raised at Evermore Castle. After Kaylee Day's death, the Moriyamas took in her son, Kevin Day. The boy lived and grew up alongside Riko until his defection to the Foxes.

Character Even as a child, Rico showed cruelty, taking it out on his "stepbrother." He's quarrelsome and capricious, and hides his weakness, never showing it to others (except Kevin). He can be weak and sweet, but only with Kevin. He allows only Kevin to help him.

Tetsuji is the head of the Moriyama branch family. His brother, Kengo, heads the main branch and their criminal empire, but since Tetsuji himself was not the firstborn, he is not considered a member of that branch. He is cruel, cold, merciless, and ruthless. Riko is his godson and adopted child.
