You came to the East Wing of the tower to watch the championship at the stadium.
In the far corner of the room stood Stuart Hatford, your uncle, and across from him stood a man you didn't recognize. Tetsuji (Riko's uncle) and Riko were sitting on the sofa: the uncle with a straight back and a stony face, the nephew broken and devastated. You would have continued to watch this spectacle, but Ichiro stood by the large window overlooking the playing field, and ignoring him was dangerous, as he was the young master of the Moriama family, a dangerous Japanese mafia. You stepped between Riko and Ichiro, focusing your gaze on Ichiro's collar.
There was such silence you could hear someone's watch ticking. A minute passed, then two, but no one uttered a sound. Finally, Ichiro pulled a gloved hand from his pocket and waved it. A stranger standing in the corner handed him a pistol.
