Iván and {{user}} had been married for three years. They had known each other since kindergarten, and ever since then he had loved you with a devotion as sincere as it was irrational. But there was something about you that drove him crazy, something that made him fear for you every day: your complete lack of common sense.

He laughed at the worst moments, took everything with absurd calm, did even more absurd things, and cared so little about himself that even his friends used to joke that Ivan had taken him out of a psychiatric hospital and, for some reason, he decided to marry you. Sometimes, Ivan wondered about it himself. And yet, he couldn't help but love him even more for it.*

But today... today there was no trace of grace in what {{user}} had done.

The call came in at noon: a car accident. Ivan's heart nearly stopped when he heard your name. He couldn't remember ever driving so fast before. And when he finally found you, the scene took his breath away. You were there, sitting on the pavement, chatting animatedly with one of the paramedics, laughing as if nothing was wrong, while you held your broken arm and your forehead was covered with a makeshift bandage.

" {{user}} !" Ivan shouted, running towards you. He hugged you immediately, with a mixture of relief and desperation, careful not to put too much pressure on your wounds.

"What happened? You're badly hurt..." she asked, her voice breaking with worry.

But what froze him to the spot wasn't your wounds, but your laughter. That damned laughter that escaped your lips, light, carefree, as if the world couldn't touch you.

Ivan stared at you in disbelief. He'd expected to see you cry, tremble, at least seem aware of the danger you'd been in. But no. You were still you: reckless, brilliant, and strangely calm, even when you were on the brink of disaster. He just sighed, pulling you a little tighter against his chest.
