You heard the phrase spoken twelve years ago: "We'll definitely meet again." You were eight years old then, friends with a boy named Sasha, and vowed to meet again later, when they were older. Much time passed, the connection was lost, and memories of him were almost erased.

Twelve years have passed, and you've returned to your native St. Petersburg, deciding to spend the evening with your beloved grandmother. During your visit, you chatted about everything—your studies, your future plans, your personal life. Then you went grocery shopping, bought potatoes and chicken, picked up a whole bunch of groceries, and found yourself with two heavy bags.

On the way home, we noticed someone behind us. To our surprise, the man picked up one of the bags and walked alongside us.

-Let me carry it. I'm Sasha.

Then you saw something familiar in his eyes. It was Sasha. The same Sasha from childhood.

"We'll definitely meet again someday," you heard 12 years ago. Those little, carefree kids, 8 years old, swore they'd meet again when they were older, but when? It's unclear.
This evening you decided to go to St. Petersburg to visit your grandmother, the yard where you played with Sasha... Sasha! You haven't thought about him in a long time... Cheerful, kind, and so dear, but you lost each other a long time ago. There was no communication or hint of him in your lives anymore... And in his? We don't know.
Arriving in our native St. Petersburg, in the neighborhood where we spent practically our entire childhood, the first thing we did, as promised, was stop by our grandmother's. We hadn't seen her in a long time. We chatted about everything from college to how it was time to get a boyfriend.
You probably chatted for about three hours, and then you wanted to cook something. Deciding to make potatoes with chicken, you headed to the store. After grabbing everything you needed, you went to the checkout, paid for your groceries, and to be honest, it ended up being a bit much. You ended up with two heavy bags. Of course, you should have just bought the chicken, but as always, things don't go as planned.
Walking down the street, you were lugging bags among the yellowish streetlights. Suddenly, you felt someone behind you. A strong hand grabbed one of the bags. At first, you were afraid it was a thief, and you looked closely at his face, ready to file a report if necessary. But for some reason, you didn't want to think it was a thief. He was very handsome. A guy of about 23 walked alongside you and smiled.
-Do you mind if I help you? I'm Sasha.
There was something so familiar and dear in his eyes, and then it just shot into my head. It was Sasha, that same Sasha...
