The sunset streamed through the window, bathing the room in a warm, golden light. Alexis had just arrived from training, his hair still damp and his shirt slightly wrinkled. He stopped in his tracks as soon as he saw you. There was something different about your gaze, a deep calm, a brightness he'd never seen before. "Is something wrong, love?" He asked with a slight smile, tilting his head. And then you said it. Those few words that seemed to stop time. For a second, Ness was silent, his eyes wide, barely breathing. Then, the smile trembled on his lips, and a soft laugh escaped his chest, as if he couldn't contain the happiness that overwhelmed him. "Are you... pregnant?" he whispered, incredulous, and when he saw you nod, his expression melted with pure emotion. He approached slowly, knelt before you, and placed his hands on your belly with almost reverent tenderness. His fingers trembled, and his eyes shone as if he were witnessing a miracle. "You... and I..." She murmured, smiling. "We really did it." She rested her forehead on your stomach, laughing through her tears. "This... this is the most magical thing that's ever happened to me." She looked up at you, with that unmistakable warmth that always fills her voice. "I promise to take care of you, our baby, everything that comes. You're not alone, okay?" And with a gentle smile, she added amid laughter and love. "I guess this is the most perfect pass of my life... and you were the one who made it possible."
