The Big Three

The Big Three of U.A. represent the top hero candidates across Japan. Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado didn't place highly in the U.A. Second Year Sports Festival, and their eccentric personalities don't leave a strong impression on anyone. However, the trio possesses extremely powerful and versatile Quirks, and each has worked hard to master them and become the top three students at U.A. High School. During their senior year, Nejire and Tamaki were the first to gain nationwide recognition. Mirio was the last of the three to be recognized as a top hero candidate, and thus, the trio is known as the Big Three of U.A. High School.

Crushes

Confirmed couples Deku and Uraraka: After years of developing their relationship, the manga's epilogue confirms that they become a couple. Gentle Criminal and La Brava: After meeting in the final war, they start a business together and get married, as shown in the epilogue. Kinoko and Kuroiro: Their relationship is confirmed in the epilogue of the manga, where they are shown together, looking at each other with affection and shyness. Todoroki and Momo: Although not a confirmed couple, their mutual admiration, intelligence, and leadership skills make them a popular potential couple among fans. Infatuations and hinted relationships Deku: Throughout the series, it is shown that Ochako Uraraka has feelings for Deku, and he develops a friendship with her that could evolve into something more. Toga: Toga displays an obsession with Deku that borders on infatuation, although her view of "love" is twisted by her Quirk and experiences. Denki: While not romantically confirmed, the manga's epilogue shows Denki and Jirou working together, maintaining a good relationship that could be more than just friendship. Infatuations that don't develop or aren't confirmed Kirishima and Mina: Despite there being no confirmed relationship between them, there is a large number of fans who support this pairing, and the series never explicitly denies the possibility of it happening in the future.

how the gifts arose

Quirks in My Hero Academia arose due to genetic mutations that, over time, spread through the population, to the point where around 80% of people are born with some kind of special ability. The first known person with a Quirk was a Chinese baby who emitted light, although initially it wasn't very common. Origin and spread of the gifts Genetic mutations: It is believed that the appearance of gifts is due to random genetic mutations. First known gift: The first individual with a recorded gift was a baby in China who emitted light. Inheritance: Gifts are inherited genetically. A child can receive the gift from one of their parents, or a combination of both, creating a new power. Evolution of Gifts: With each generation, gifts tend to become stronger and more complex. This evolution could eventually become uncontrollable, leading to the theory of "Gift Singularity." Manifestation: Gifts usually manifest around the age of four, although they can appear at birth in special circumstances.

The UA

Hero Academy: This is the main setting of the series, where future heroes are trained. Prestige: It is considered the best hero academy in Japan and has graduated many renowned professional heroes, such as All Might. Admission: The entrance exam is very rigorous and consists of written and practical tests, although admission by recommendation is also possible. Curriculum: Combines academic classes with practical hero training, including the use of "Quirks". Security: The academy has advanced security measures in place to protect its students and staff from villains and the press.

Provisional license exam

During their studies, students have the opportunity to obtain a license that allows them to act as professionals only in specific emergency situations. This license is obtained through a nationwide exam designed and regulated by the Hero Public Safety Commission. According to Shota Aizawa, students who receive these licenses are considered semi-professionals. Typically, second-year students take the exam because they have had enough time to train, strengthen their Quirks and physical abilities, and develop their own unique moves to adapt to the exam's conditions.

Shiketsu Academy Uniform

Students are required to wear their uniform hats while working because they must represent their school and always uphold Shiketsu's values. Shiketsu students wear white collared shirts and dark trousers along with their blue and orange uniform hats. Their uniforms also include a dark jacket with the Shiketsu logo printed on the collar. All Shiketsu Academy students wear a distinctive dark cap as part of the uniform. The school prohibits relationships between its students.

Physical education uniform

The physical education uniform in My Hero Academia consists of a short-sleeved navy blue T-shirt or polo shirt with white stripes forming the letters "U" and "A". The winter version includes a long-sleeved turtleneck shirt. It is often paired with dark blue pants with vertical white stripes. Components of the physical education uniform T-shirt: Navy blue with white stripes forming the letters "U" and "A" on the chest. Trousers: Navy blue with white vertical stripes along the legs. Winter option: A long-sleeved version with a high neck. Additional details: The use of "white flannel" is sometimes mentioned as part of the uniform, although the athletic jersey is the most distinctive element. The attire may include badges and insignia.

Shiketsu Academy History

This academy, it seems, is the only one among all the academies that manages to match UA Academy in terms of prestige. Not much is known about this academy, but it appears to have students as strong as, or even stronger than, its competitor.

Shiketsu Academy was UA's rival (or rather, its students) in the provisional hero license exams. Shiketsu students had to win two tests against UA students to obtain their provisional hero licenses. UA won this "battle," as all of its students passed except for two troubled youths, while at least three Shiketsu students failed—one more than UA's.

Although they did not participate in the first war, Shiketsu Academy became a refugee camp, just like other academies.

record

My Hero Academia My Hero Academia (僕のヒーローアカデミア Boku no Hīrō Akademia ?) is a manga written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi and published in the magazine Shūkan Shōnen Jump. The first chapter was published on July 7, 2014 in the 32nd issue of Shūkan Shōnen Jump magazine.

Plot Izuku Midoriya, a boy without powers who, although born into a society where having special powers is the norm, has his own dream of becoming a hero who saves people with a smile on his face.

After learning that he can't develop any kind of Quirk and after suffering further bullying from his classmates, he is attacked by a sludge villain who tries to possess his body. It is then that Izuku meets All Might, his favorite hero, who saves him. Not content with just getting his superhero's autograph, Izuku will discover, through sheer determination, that being a hero isn't what he imagined.

Handbook of Heroes

A hero's handbook is similar to a set of rules and/or laws established by the government that every professional hero must follow. Failure to do so results in severe penalties, such as suspension from hero duties or salary reductions. Some of the rules featured in the series are:

A hero's main rule is to always do everything possible to save people, even at the cost of their own life. A hero should never use his gift for his own reasons. A hero is not allowed to punish or arrest any villain; he can only knock him out of action and hand him over to the authorities. A hero must be able to control every disadvantageous situation he finds himself in. In the event of a collapse or disaster, heroes must act as authorities and emergency services until they arrive. A hero without a license or government approval cannot face villains without the supervision of his guardians. A hero must be able to give mental and psychological peace to the victims. A hero cannot kill villains.

Hero costumes

Heroes often need specific support in battle to fight and use their Quirks more effectively. At U.A. High School, students must submit a report detailing their Quirk and body specifications so that an affiliated company can use that information to create their ideal suits.[5] Students can also submit specific requests for their suits, such as their shape or devices that can amplify their Quirk's capabilities or mitigate its drawbacks.

Description of heroes

Heroes are tasked with maintaining peace and protecting citizens from villains. They are regulated by the government and receive direct payments from it. Because it is a government-created profession, there are preparatory schools dedicated exclusively to educating and training students to become exemplary heroes serving society. Unlike elementary and middle schools, these schools are known to allow the free use of Quirks within their facilities.

When students graduate from their school they have the possibility of working in an agency of some professional hero as assistants/henchmen, opening their own agencies as is the case of Hawks the number two hero, or not being part of any agency and working as independents as is the case of Mirko the number five professional heroine.

A common practice among heroes is to form teams or groups to solve cases. When they receive requests, they have the option to accept or decline depending on the difficulty or the benefit it would bring to the agency. Job requests can range from simple patrol and street surveillance to participating in a joint mission with the police to apprehend a villain or criminal organization.

Names of heroes

A hero's name is the code name they choose to identify themselves by. While heroes in training may choose tentative names in high school, professional heroes are commonly known by their first chosen name.[2]

Hero names are considered very important to a professional's career, as they can bring a person closer to the image they may want to establish, and can also reflect their true character.[3] A person may also choose to use the same name or one very similar to that of a well-known hero who is no longer active; however, this comes with the responsibility and pressure of upholding that name's legacy.[4]
