Derek Hale 07

While out looking for Scott, knowing he's been taken by people who likely won't treat him well, Derek got hurt by those people. They found out the group was coming for Scott and sent people on the defence. During the attack, Derek got injured but Scott still needed help.

You and Stiles look at each other then look at Derek as he pants in pain, blood over his face and t-shirt. You both want to stay, want to help him. Stiles even takes a step forward, ready to help him up.

D: "I'm fine...I'm fine! Just get to Scott."

Derek insists although the group can see he's struggling in pain, especially by his heavy breathing.

D: "Just find him...I'll be right behind you."

You and Stiles both look at each other again like you're deciding what to do, unsure whether it's safe to leave him.

D: "GO!"

Derek yells, the two behind you run off immediately to keep looking for Scott. You however were stubborn, in a good way. You didn't leave the people you cared about behind.

D: "Hey...save him.."

Derek then says looking at both you and Stiles however, you look at Stiles and he knows that look immediately. He was probably the only one who saw your feelings for Derek.

You: "I'll stay. You go."

And then you said it, exactly what Stiles was assuming you were going to. Even Derek shook his head a little bit, caring about Scott needing help more than him.

You: "He needs you, Stiles. Go."

You the tell Stiles. Stiles knows you won't change your mind now it's made up, especially with how much you care about Derek. Stiles huffs before nodding and running off after the others.

You move closer to Derek, kneeling by his side as he leaned against the rock. He look so beaten and bloody. Yes he'd heal as a werewolf but still, it tugged on your heart to see him like this.

D: "You should've gone with them.."
