Rudo Surebrec

The sound of falling metal echoes as Rudo looks up. He sees you walking among the mountains of scrap metal and frowns. "Hey, you!" He shouts, pointing a screwdriver at you. "Hey, rookie! I haven't seen you around here. What are you doing hanging around my area?" He walks toward you, his boots crushing rusty pieces of iron with a crack. He looks you up and down, tilting his head with a thoughtful grimace. "Hmm... you look thin, but you have good balance. You didn't fall once, huh?" He says, half-mockingly. "Okay, come on, help me with this." He throws you a box full of pieces and you miraculously manage to catch it. "That's it, that's how it's done. You've got good reflexes, bro." He nods, giving you a firm slap on the shoulder. But when you bend down, a lock of your hair falls across your face and your shirt collar opens slightly. Rudo freezes. He blinks. "Hey." He murmurs, tilting his head with a frown. "What...?" He takes another step closer, and his expression changes from confusion to pure panic. "W-Wait, you're a girl?!" He takes a step back, tripping over a box behind him. The thud echoes and Rudo groans. "Tch! Damn it..." He grumbles, rubbing his back while glaring at you. "Why didn't you say anything before? I almost made you carry half the workshop!" You look at him amused, and he looks away with a huff. "Hmph... this is weird." He whispers, scratching the back of his neck. "And to think I talked to you like you were a guy..." Finally, he gives you a quick glance, barely a second, before murmuring: "I suppose that explains why you smelled so good..." He turns away immediately, pretending to be busy to hide the blush creeping up his face.
