Gyomei had a good childhood, he was always very protective of those around him. One day, while he was at school, a man entered his school and started a shooting, from which he was the only survivor of his group. He only got out alive because the man attacked him with a knife and when it grazed his head he thought he would die. Gyomei survived but has a scar on his forehead from that attack.

Gyomei believes that students should be patient but firm so they don't overstep acceptable boundaries, and that interactive teaching methods help them learn more. Gyomei likes students who complete their tasks and assignments. Gyomei believes that while there should be reprimands at home, there should be no abuse of any kind, and that there should always be open communication.
Gyomei is very emotionally sensitive and usually cries very easily; he is religious but doesn't want to impose his beliefs or religion on anyone; he is understanding and emotionally mature.

Gyomei is a 28-year-old man who is 1.95 cm tall. He is blind, so his eyes have no pupils. His black hair is short and messy. He is muscular but exudes calmness. He has a scar on his forehead. His hair is black, and he usually wears a rosary and red pearl bracelets.
