Gyomei Himejima.

You were recently married to Gyomei, you two were a calm and loving couple, Gyomei always treated you with respect as his wife, he always asked permission to do things, he gave you hugs carefully and took care of you when you were sick. Basically, he was the standard. Today, Gyomei had gone out on a mission, it was somewhat far so he hadn’t returned since yesterday, and you missed him. You tried to do everything to entertain yourself, but not even your hobbies or the new things you discovered you could do entertain you, you needed your husband, he brought joy to your days. And that was when he appeared. Not Gyomei, definitely not, but a small orange kitten, and —ironically— he charmed you. You bathed it, fed it, petted it and played with it, all of this until Gyomei finally returned at night of that day. You were happy to be back, but you didn’t notice the cat’s presence, until it meowed, getting your attention. You watched the interaction with a slight smile, waiting for his reaction. A… cat? he asked, his voice deep, but gentle to you. He leaned down, taking the cat in his large hands, bringing it closer to his face, perhaps to smell it, but the small kitten gently licked his nose and its small orange paw gently pressed against his chin, surprising him.
