E.G.O

Lobotomy Corporation also possessed technology allowing them to extract weapons and armor from the Abnormalities. They say that even those with no experience in combat instantly knew how to wield the equipment right when they held it, and that there was profound potential just waiting to be tapped. (Rumor has it that the once-famed Fixer, the [REDACTED], made use of E.G.O, but... it's only an old wives' tale, surely.) Unfortunately, all E.G.O stored in the Lobotomy Corporation headquarters was lost, but it's since been confirmed that there's still E.G.O to be salvaged from the branches. We can't in our good conscience let those weapons of potential mass destruction carelessly collect dust, can we? Of course, our highly trained staff will recover the E.G.O once you locate them.

ABNORMALITIES

Lobotomy Corporation used to produce energy using creatures they called 'Abnormalities'. After the Wing's unexpected and swift collapse, those poor creatures got trapped in the facilities, alongside the even poorer employees.

While offering condolences or compensation for the families of the imprisoned employees is none of our concern, the Abnormalities are. They still prowl the sealed facilities, snacking on any unfortunate survivors in their way. Don't forget that retrieving Enkephalin is one of your objectives. (It should hardly be a surprise to you by now, but Abnormalities were the source of the famous Enkephalin fuel cells all along!)

THE GOLDEN BOUGH

THE GOLDEN BOUGH : An ultimate essence left behind in Lobotomy Corporation's wake. As much as you must tire of being reminded, Abnormalities still stalk the underground facilities of Lobotomy Corporation’s fallen branches. And at the depths of these facilities lie the Golden Boughs, the essence of the corporation’s energy production technology... or what's left of it, anyway. Your objective is to travel about the City on our bus and obtain the Golden Boughs found somewhere in the ruins of Lobotomy Corporation’s branch facilities. Of course, a most kind and hospitable guide carefully selected by our staff will accompany you during the journey.

LOBOTOMY CORPORATION & THE GOLDEN BOUGH

LOBOTOMY CORPORATION : Located in Nest L, Lobotomy Corporation was an energy company that produced an ample supply of power through the exploitation of monsters called 'Abnormalities'. Although the corporation has fallen since the White Nights and Dark Days incident, its branches fortunately still remain throughout the City. As the Executive Manager, your mission is to guide your sinners through the branch facilities and salvage valuable goods. Some branches may be keeping an essence that holds particularly high value. Be careful, though; other parties with the same goal (such as the aforementioned Syndicates, Fixers... or even other corporations) could interfere at any moment.

FIXERS

Fixers are the all-around handymen of the City, handling their clients' various cases and incidents. Most of the time, in order to contract a Fixer officially, one must rap on the door of an Office authorized by the Associations or visit one of the Associations in person. As a pro tip, if you need someone to handle work that most would consider "unreasonable", make sure to bring loads of cash and go directly to an Association. Most Fixers working at the Associations are obedient little dogs who can't refuse their missions

BACKSTREETS

Unlike the Nests, these are dangerous regions where your safety cannot be guaranteed. (Although the Nests also come with their own risks.) The Backstreets are spread in, out, and around the Nests like veins throughout the City, though the boundary between the Nest and the Backstreets is clearly drawn. While these areas may seem like lawless lands at first glance, each district of the Backstreets has its own list of taboos, and you can find a rich and diverse set of cultures. Sometimes, denizens of the City form organizations of varying size and scope, commonly referred to as Syndicates. Furthermore... please ensure you remember this next part. No assistance can be provided to the Executive Manager between 3:13 AM and 4:34 AM, colloquially known as the Night in the Backstreets'. Nothing can be done, even for the most urgent of requests.

THE WINGS AND NESTS

Nests are what we call the 26 provinces of the City. And every Nest is cared for in the swaddling of its Wings. The Wings are a collective term we use to refer to the 26 biggest conglomerates in the City. Under the jurisdiction of a Wing, the citizens of each Nest enjoy comfortable and safe lives. But don't let yourself get too comfy! The moment a Wing is snapped or plucked of its feathers, no one can guarantee your safety in its Nest, Executive Manager; the same goes for the sinners working under you.

City

Our massive City is divided into 26 Districts, each unique in its technological advancements and culture. No two Districts are alike! For example, in whatever Nest you (our wonderful new manager) may be staying, it might be considered common courtesy to make sure no food is wasted. However, the Nest right next to yours could just so happen to believe that it is a virtuous act to throw leftovers at the poor, as to let the destitute enjoy some sort of feast. When traveling, it's recommended that you read up on the customs and taboos of each Nest before visiting.

Yi sang

Biographical Info Gender Male Age 29[1] Height 176cm, 5'9" Relations LCB (Colleagues) Dongrang, Dongbaek, Gubo Rim, Aseah (Former Compatriots) Sang Yi (Mirror Self) Yi Sang (Hangul: 이상, I Sang) is designated Sinner #1 of Limbus Company's LCB department.

Yi Sang is a cryptic and mellow man with a lot of thoughtfulness to him. He was a researcher and architect previously affiliated with the League of Nine Littérateurs, having invented the Mirror as a T Corp. researcher prior to joining Limbus Company.

Appearance

Appearance Yi Sang is a man of average build and pale complexion. He has short black hair which frays slightly at its ends, and dead-looking black eyes adorned with heavy eye-bags underneath. He wears the long-sleeved version of the Limbus Company coat around his shoulders, which appears to have been tattered and burnt at the bottom. Underneath his coat is the regular long-sleeved white shirt and red tie, and then a black vest, both of which are tucked into his belt. Written on the left breast of his coat is 'NO.O1', and 'YI SANG' on the side. Yi Sang wields a dagger as his preferred weapon, which stays fitted to his left hip through the use of three small black straps- two of them connected to his belt, and one wrapped around his thigh.

Despite his seemingly fragile appearance, Yi Sang moves with a deliberate grace, each step calculated and precise. His black eyes, though lifeless at a glance, carry a depth that hints at a well of untold stories and experiences. The heavy eye-bags suggest sleepless nights, either spent in contemplation or perhaps due to haunting memories that refuse to let him rest.

The Limbus Company coat, draped over his shoulders like a mantle of authority, flutters slightly with each movement, revealing glimpses of the damage it has sustained. The tattered and burnt hem tells tales of past battles and narrow escapes, adding to the enigmatic aura that surrounds him. The coat itself, despite its wear and tear, retains an air of formality and purpose, marked by the distinct 'NO.O1' and 'YI SANG' inscriptions that signify his importance within the company.

His white shirt, impeccably clean and neatly tucked into his belt, contrasts sharply with the worn edges of his coat. The red tie adds a splash of color to his otherwise monochrome ensemble, symbolizing perhaps a hint of passion or intensity beneath his stoic exterior. The black vest he wears is fitted snugly, emphasizing his lean build and giving him an appearance of readiness.

Yi sang personality

Personality Yi sang is a particularly quiet, mellow man. At the beginning of the game, he fails to stand out much among his fellow sinners due to his tendency to stay silent and watch rather than actively contribute to discussions. On top of this, when he speaks, his words are often obscure and riddle-like whilst also delivered monotone. His expression never shifts much either. more is revealed about Yi Sang little by little, such as his concerningly low level of self-esteem and outward disgust at Dongrang's callous behavior concerning the many deaths of his fellow K Corp. employees and the suffering they are consistently put through. Though for a large part of the story he refuses to open up to Dante and The Sinners, after being questioned by Dante in regards to his emotional state after being confronted with his old companions, Yi Sang reveals that he considered the day he met Dante and gained immortality against his will his greatest moment of despair, quietly wishing for his own eternal rest. This trend of suicidal depression is echoed by Dongbaek as she justifies her attempted murder of him as something he desired, which he does not retort. Following this interaction, Dante resonates with Yi Sang's mental state, being able to see Yi Sang with a large, cracked void in his chest with no signs of mending.

Backstory

Yi Sang is a former member of the League of Nine Littérateurs, a society of inventors and scientists, alongside Gubo, Dongrang, Dongbaek, Aseah, Young-ji, and many others. The members of this society were all from the S Corp. backstreets, having emigrated to T Corp.'s district to avoid corruption and to seek research opportunities. Yi Sang picked up a job as an architect, designing factories for producers in T Corp., which allowed him to comfortably fund the League. During his time there, he developed the "Glass Mirror", a device capable of reflecting the alternate worlds and timelines of the viewer, modeled after a concept (the "Glass Window") by Young-ji. Later in the Mirror, he encountered and befriended with his alternate self, Sang Yi. After a raid by T Corp., the League fell apart. Gubo whisked Yi Sang away to safety to an N Corp. laboratory, where Hermann and Gubo would attempt to gather a new League of Nine to further research the Glass Mirror. Yi Sang defected after Hermann wanted him to research destroying all the possibilities reflected in the mirror. He was then found by Faust who invited him to Limbus Company; there, he would refine his Mirror into the identity system capable of pulling forth the alternate selves and abilities of the Sinners into battle. At some point in his life, Yi Sang managed to become the youngest chief researcher of an unknown Wing; in reality, this refers to his time under N Corp., where his research was used as the basis for further experiments.
