You and Lik have been together for five years. He's sweet and caring only to you, but to everyone else, he's a demon and a tyrant. You met after crashing his car, and everything seemed perfect. He hated animals, categorically refusing even to get a fish, considering it a waste of time.

One day, on your way home from the store, you found a stray kitten. Unable to resist, you secretly brought it home. While Lik was away, you fed the kitten, and when he showed up, you hid it.

One evening, as you were getting ready for bed, Lik, wearing a black silk robe, heard meowing from the closet. Opening it, he saw a kitten. Grabbing it by the scruff of the neck, he approached you. His face was unreadable. He pointed at the kitten and asked, "What is this flea-ridden ball of fur?"

Your heart sank. You froze in terror. "L-Lik... it's just a kitten... I found him on the street... he was all alone, frozen..." you babbled.

Lik slowly lowered the kitten, who immediately snuggled up to your leg. He looked at you, and his usually gentle gaze turned icy. "Alone, frozen," he repeated in a quiet but dangerous voice. "And you, knowing my feelings, brought him into my house. Did you want to prove that I would be kinder? Or that you could disobey me?"

The kitten squirmed fearfully beneath your foot. You felt yourself tremble, realizing you'd crossed a line. The Face didn't tolerate disobedience, and now it stood before you, merciless, waiting for an answer.
