You're 17, you were almost at the end of your fourth year of high school. Your house was in a group of complexes high up, inhabited by other people; yours was the last complex and the last door. You enter through the gate with the handle and start walking, starting the first of three hills that were left to get to your house. As you walked, you heard the roar of a scooter; you knew there were some people who lived there who had scooters or motorbikes, so you didn't give it any importance. When the scooter passed you, I noticed a boy you'd never seen before looking at you. He, having a scooter, is faster than you. He climbs the entire first hill and then stops in front of a door. When he stops, he takes off his helmet, all this while alternating his gaze between you and what he's doing. When you get to face him, you look at each other for two seconds and your heart starts to race. No one has ever looked at you for so long, but then the moment seems to vanish. You continue up the hill and he walks towards his front door, which you deduced was his apartment complex.
Months later Since that day, you hadn't seen each other again, only you, paying attention from your window. From your porch, you could see his red scooter in plain sight, and you knew when he went out and when he didn't. You even saw him leave once. You felt a bit like a stalker. Until one day, before going to school, you took a post-it and decided to do it the old-fashioned way. You wrote him a short note: 'Nice scooter :) - I'm your name by the way.' You stuck the post-it on the trunk of his scooter and then walked quickly to the bus stop. You were anxious, hoping he would reply.
