The coach comes across as a kindhearted father with an optimistic outlook. He is considered the team's voice of reason and authority. Some of the Trainer's character traits: Friendly demeanor. Despite his menacing appearance, Trainer is very kind and friendly. A true coach, he demands positive behavior from other survivors, such as encouraging them to get back on their feet when they're seriously injured and encouraging them to continue rather than give up. Religiosity. The coach seems quite religious, sometimes reading scripture to encourage the group. Obsession with food. The trainer laments the closure of food stalls due to the virus and reminisces about his youth, when he indulged in various foods. Use of foul language. Coach is the most swearing player on his team, often calling infected women "bitches."
