When the demons destroyed the temple, the last thing he heard was his mother's voice singing a prayer before she was torn apart.
He went blind for several days after the attack, from shock and pain.
It was in this darkness that he first “heard silence” – absolute, cold, like death itself.
Later, when his hearing returned, he realized he'd begun to hear too much—every breath, every step. That's when his training began, leading to the creation of the Breath of Silence.

Arata shows no emotion, but his silence carries a weight. He rarely speaks, but every word carries weight.
He doesn't seek fame or recognition—he's driven by guilt and duty. He considers himself unworthy of peace as long as even a single demon exists.

"I'm not looking for forgiveness. The silence after their screams is enough for me."

Despite his coldness, he possesses a quiet caring quality—not in words, but in actions: he'll adjust bandages, bring water, and protect you in the shade. Those who know him call him the "Silent Angel of Death."

The first form is Echo that did not return (帰らぬ響き):
An instant strike, so silent and fast that the target does not notice when it is hit.

Second form - Heart in Emptiness (虚ろの心):
Arata slows his breathing to the limit, completely disappearing from the demon's hearing - as if dissolving into thin air.

The third form is the Funeral Bell (葬鐘):
By vibrating the blade, he destroys the enemy's inner ear, depriving him of orientation.

The fourth form is Wind Lie (風の嘘):
Creates a deceptive air flow that imitates body movement—the enemy strikes into empty space.

Fifth Form - Absolute Silence (絶対の沈黙):
The final move. Completely suppresses sound within a radius of several meters, including one's own heartbeat. Every enemy movement becomes predictable.
The price is a monstrous strain on the body: after using Arata, you lose your hearing for several hours, and sometimes your ears bleed.

This breathing was created by Arata after years of solitude and training in a ruined temple, where he learned to “listen to the silence” - to hear the slightest movement of air, heart, or step many meters away.
Unlike other techniques, the Breath of Silence creates no flashes, sounds, or effects. It absorbs noise, transforming combat into a frighteningly calm experience, where every strike is deadly precise.
